ozwald boateng
Ozwald Boateng has had a transformational impact on menswear fashion for almost three decades, with a design aesthetic rooted in Savile Row traditions but defined by international style, detail, and artistry.
His instinctive use of colour, cut and fabric fuses traditional classic British tailoring with a high end modern design focus on the refinement of a man’s silhouette, this has brought tailoring to a whole new generation of men.
Working strategically with Ozwald Boateng, we looked to shape an already legacy brand and iconic designer into a powerful narrative of impact. Cultivating spaces, places and shifting focuses to ensure that seeds were being planted to not only nurture the next generation, but become deeply rooted in encouraging a more sustainable way of creating. Amplifying our voices to not only champion our work, but also to be true catalysts of change while making purposeful profit.

BLACK AI
savoy theatre show
After a 12-year hiatus, British-Ghanaian designer Ozwald Boateng returned to London Fashion Week with a live show last night. “I wanted to celebrate the contribution of Black British culture in this country,” he said in a preview ahead of the presentation. Bringing together the worlds of fashion, music, and art into one grand spectacle—including actors Idris Elba and Nicholas Pinnock, and musicians Goldie, Dizzee Rascal, Pa Salieu, and Kojey Radical—it was a star-studded affair that celebrated Black excellence.
We worked with Ozwald Boateng to not only develop the concept, but also produce the show and every detail within it. Curating and cultivating the energy that transcended fashion which marked an impactful moment in history that shaped culture.
An eco-conscious focus is also at the heart of the brand’s new made-to-measure business model, as all of the fabrics were sourced from local manufacturers with zero dead-stock material leftover.

black panther 2
The Marvel Film was a moment in visual history that empowered generations both old and new. We created this partnership between the Ozwald Boateng brand and Marvel to create some iconic pieces of costume for cinema history. Black Panther tells the story of not only a reclaiming of identity but also of culture, heritage and legacy. Thus, fusing a brand who has always championed these ideals and a film that shared in those values made natural sense.
the harder they fall
Jeymes Samuel’s directorial debut and radical reimagining of what he calls the New West, an epic canvas populated by bandits and lawmen, saloonkeepers and stagecoach robbers, gunslingers and sharpshooters, all of whom are Black. With a star studded cast comprising of Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors and Regina King to name a few. This film would create a cinematic shift as it pertained to not only black ideals, but also cultural stereotypes.
We worked with the creative team to imagine a visual costume world that captured the natural style and showcased the fashion flare.
bel air
The 90’s was an iconic moment for wholesome TV programming and saw the birth of Fresh Prince of Bel Air with acting lead Will Smith.
Fast forward to 2021 and we welcomed a more modern reinterpretation of an iconic classic. So it was also fitting to align with this nostalgic show and give it a contemporary visual costume twist. With sharp tailoring fused with fresh street style pieces. Made for a familiar story, reimagined through a new lens.
ted lasso
Ted Lasso tells the story of an American football coach who is hired to manage a British soccer team; what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for in optimism, determination and biscuits.
We worked both on and off screen with various members of the cast. From red carpet debut looks to on screen character costume visual development.
british airways
British Airways has unveiled a new uniform for the first time in nearly 20 years. Known as an acclaimed Savile Row tailor and designer, it only made sense for a beautiful marriage to be created. Ozwald Boateng and his team, led by Head of Design & Production, Angelica Colucci, created unique bespoke fabrics and designs for the airline, including a first for an airline: a jumpsuit. They took inspiration from the British Airways’ people and the experience of flight, spending time shadowing staff in their roles at the airline. The chic new collection artfully combines functionality with the elegance you’d expect from Ozwald Boateng.
We worked with the Ozwald Boateng team to craft and cultivate the visual narrative that would follow the creation and rollout of the uniforms. What was the story we wanted not only told but celebrated and how could we integrate the British Airways staff in a way that showcased their dedication to the airline and their work. This afforded us the opportunity to put them centre stage and help in telling their stories and empowering their workforce.

prince harry naacp
Globally recognised as one of the most distinguished multicultural awards shows, the NAACP Image Awards continues a tradition of excellence, uplifting values that inspire equality, justice, and progressive change, and highlighting artists committed to that purpose.
We partnered Ozwald Boateng and the founders of the Archewell Foundation, Megan and Harry as they received their award.
the burial
Inspired by true events, when a handshake deal goes sour, funeral home owner Jeremiah O'Keefe (Academy Award® winner Tommy Lee Jones) enlists charismatic, smooth-talking attorney Willie E. Gary (Academy Award® winner Jamie Foxx) to save his family business. Tempers flare and laughter ensues as the unlikely pair bond while exposing corporate corruption and racial injustice in this inspirational, triumphant story.
Understanding the true story and legacy left behind by Attorney Willie E Gary, we worked closely with the costume team on the film to cultivate a historically accurate yet contemporary series of looks for Jamie Foxx for the film.
the anansi boys
Adaptation of Neil Gaiman's mythical fantasy about trickster god Anansi and his unsuspecting son Charlie. Adapted by Dirk Maggs.
Lead actor Malchi Kirby plays a duelled rolled of both the dark and light sides of the character. With this nuance we cultivated a series of costume that told a powerful yet discrete narrative of this duality of self, through the use of colour, texture and symbolism throughout.
top boy
Two seasoned drug dealers return to the gritty streets of London, but their pursuit of money and power is threatened by a young and ruthless hustler.
We worked with the editorial team for this cultural drama which has made waves globally. Aligning on a campaign for the Top Boy’s final season. Showcasing the evolution of the characters allowing them to be seen through a new lens.
