ja24
The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the Mineralogical & Geological Museum at Harvard University (MGMH), and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) have officially launched JewelryArts24, a creative fund inspired by the discussions at the State of the Art Summit held in June 2023 at Harvard. This summit explored the future of responsible jewelry, emphasizing the need for greater youth involvement in storytelling and the education of society through data, art, and science on the significance of responsible practices in the jewelry industry and beyond.
JewelryArts24 invites artists, students, industry professionals, and creatives to create a piece of digital art using data from the summit, with the goal of spreading the message to a global audience. The winning artwork will be exhibited during Frieze London in October 2024, with the artist receiving a grant and commercial representation from Nataal Creative Studio.
